Covenant House California is a multi-service residential program dedicated to assisting homeless and at-risk youth/young adults. Under the supervision of the Resident Services Coordinator, the Resident Advisor provides custodial supervision of the shelter and facilitates the delivery of residential services to youth. They provide support to the Safety Officer on duty and conduct routine checks of the shelter to inspect the facility for any safety or maintenance concerns. Resident Advisors are also responsible for providing all necessary documentation for resident’s files on a regular basis. The O/N shift Resident Advisor is responsible for early wake ups, and for providing breakfast for residents who are leaving the shelter early for work or school purposes. |
